Finally, radio that doesn't make me want to ram into the car of the person in front of me with that "don't believe the liberal media" bumper sticker on the back of their car. The state of radio in Atlanta is a sad case. Tons of Clear Channel stations with the same DJ's and playlists everyone reading this is hearing. Even our NPR station is horrible - hours upon hours of classical music for your workday enjoyment! It hurts me to give them a donation but I need my short 3 hours of NPR news everyday to know what the hell is really going on. We do have Neil Bortz, Rush Limbaugh, and Sean Hannity though where you can hear great comments (from Rush) like I heard the other day - "those soldiers were just blowing off steam." referring to the torture of detainees. Give me a break!

I was so tired of corporate radio that I spent the money to get XM Radio (it's the best $9.99 a month I'll ever spend) and have spent hours listening to great commercial free music of my choosing. When I thought it couldn't get any better...here comes Air America - channel 167! 24/7 liberal talk radio! "The Majority Report", co-hosts Janeane Garofalo and Sam Seder and Al Franken hosts "The O'Franken Factor". And my favorite, "Unfiltered" with Chuck D, Rachel Maddow and Lizz Winstead. It's intelligent, informative, and funny.
